Allowing Disrespectful Behavior During Practice

I’m really sorry for not stepping in when my friend decided to smear peanut butter on the table. It was disrespectful not just to the space but also to you as our coach, and I can only imagine how frustrating that must have been for you. I should have recognized the moment and challenged that behavior instead of letting it slide. I take full responsibility for not speaking up. It’s my job to help create a positive environment for everyone, and I failed to do that in this instance. I realize now that my silence may have made you feel unsupported, and that's the last thing I wanted. I truly value our time together and the effort you put into coaching us, and I regret that my actions didn’t reflect that. To make things right, I’ll make sure to address any future disrespectful behavior right away, no matter who it comes from. I also want to keep the lines of communication open; if there's ever anything that bothers you or if you feel I need to step up more, please let me know. I care about our team and want to contribute positively. Thanks for your understanding, and I hope we can move past this. Looking forward to your thoughts.
